Meet-Me Answer lets you respond to a Group Page that you missed, even if you do not know the identity or location of the person that paged you. Each page group has one Meet-Me Answer timer; you could have up to 15 minutes to respond to the most recent page by using the Meet-Me Answer feature.
Meet-Me Answer is only available on some phones; see Feature Availability below for more information.
Attendant consoles do not receive Group Pages so they cannot initiate Meet-Me Answer; however, if an attendant initiates a Group Page, that console can be called by using Meet-Me Answer.
If a paged party uses Meet-Me Answer to respond to a Group Page while that page is still in progress, the Group Page will terminate and the two parties will be connected in a normal call.
Meet-Me Answer rings every telephone with a line key of the line that initiated the Group Page; for example, if you use line 2001 to initiate a Group Page, Meet-Me Answer will ring all sets with line 2001. However, if the Group Page is still in progress, Meet-Me Answer will ring the paging party only.
Ensure that COR and interconnect restrictions allow the paging and paged parties to connect.
